Circular fashion made in italy

In 2017, Niccolò Cipriani is in Vietnam working for a United Nations programme. There, he experiences the effects of overproduction in the fashion industry at first hand: mountains of clothing that are stored in warehouses and end up unsold in waste incineration because the economic system produces far more than people actually need.

Prato &
Recyclingtradition

Niccolò Cipriani returned to his home town of Prato, where the recycling of textiles has been a tradition for centuries – at a time when recycling was still a matter of common sense.

This is the perfect place to start his project of a clothing line made from recycled fibres based on zero-waste production.

Rifo ist ein Abenteuer ...

Rifò is an adventure…
Our goal is to be the first brand in Italy fully committed to sustainability, offering a clothing line made from recycled fibres, which means less use of water, pesticides and chemicals.
Our garments are produced within a 30 km radius of our office. From the recycled wool, cashmere, denim and silk to the finished product, we guarantee a ‘Made in Italy’ product that doesn’t travel twice around the world before reaching people.
