The manufacturer supplies soles made from 100% natural jute fibers, 35% of which are recycled. The laces used in the espadrilles are also made from used or recycled yarns and have the "Ecolife" certificate.

Jutelaune's leather manufacturers are members of the Leather Working Group, which aims to improve the leather industry by working in an environmentally friendly way, using best practice and proposing guidelines for continuous improvement. Jute is a 100% biodegradable fiber.
